A Moment

The clouds parted,and you saw the sun, but did you really miss all the fun, it took a moment before you realized that all your dream have materialized, yet what did they become, but an end to all your tears, words spoken can follow you through the years becoming the demons that we fight. We can never seem to get it quite right, we hold our heads high and wave goodbye, never learning the reason(s) for all the lies, we open our eyes and it was all gone it never really seemed to take that long. Did we let it pass or did it just let us go? Only in our hearts will we truly know........
