The Blink Of An Eye

Some vanished before the light did
then more of us would die.
How could we, civilians, have known
In the blink of an eye
A single weapon could kill us
And continue to kill
Anything on our graveyard
That civilians now fill.
Now other civilians will know
Of how we died that day
And will fear that kind of weapon
Unless destroyed someway.......
